Asexual reprodution in the horizon [ of million years ? ]. So, evolution goes around to complete the circle ? Looking at the chaotic world now, might as well having a new species who know nothing about war and peace.
If males become extinct, then females cannot be far behind. Nature is designed to reproduce itself. A relationship exists between the two sexes. Can one exist without the other? A sterile world seems unimaginable.
There are some species capable of reproducing asexually. And you the genetic development. The survived females will be more intelligent ( presently I admit they are not less) to adopt the asexual reproduction. Not an all impossible an idea I hope.
